i eat grass fed beef and pork...not perfect but a much smaller carbon footprint and is healthier than the usual grain fed stuff...

plus its "happy" beef
 
actually i started my "grass-fed" campaign after reading Omnivores Dilemma by Michael Pollen.

if you want to eat healthier and treat the planet nicer, read this book. the description of a "normal" beef cow's life is probably the most sickening thing i have ever read.
 
I thought this thread would have been about going vegan. But eating bugs? No thanks :shock: :mrgreen:

Ok, I dare not read it then.

I saw the way they skin the cows live to get leather once - I'm not buying leather anymore.
