A billion gasoline-free kilometers.

I noticed you're still working with polymers.

Nice! Is this a British/European "advert" though? I can't see it running in the U.S., not only because of 'kilometers', but also its length. Who knows though, we could be surprised.

I think I just felt my paradigm shift.

Yeah, if you follow the link at the end it has stories for Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Spain and U.K.

Maybe they'll have a billion miles campaign for the US?

The UK use miles not kilometres on roads.

^^^ Doh!

Incidentally, assuming even a modest exponential growth rate (0.75%, or ^1.0075) in distance traveled, we should be very close to a billion miles right about now. I doubt we'll see a commercial like this for miles, though.

Edit: reformatted and repositioned growth rate #, for clarity.

I was thinking the same thing.
I don't see why Nissan wouldn't make another such ad for the U.S.
