Hello! New owner here! Got the cars for 2 weeks. Just couldn't stand the stock 16 inch steel rims with hub caps.
Wheels are 17x9 +42 with 235/45 17 tires. I like the concaveness of these wheels but you only get it on a 9 inch wide rim at the minimum, and I don't want to stretch a 205 tire on a 9in rim. So that's how I ended up with such a wide tire. The wheels and tires combo weight about 1.5 extra lbs than the stock combo. And I know I'll probably take a bigger hit on efficiency with the extra rolling resistance. Hopefully not too bad. I haven't driven it enough to see the real impact.
