Was going to start a new thread but I guess my query/request fits here...
In my subscription notices (as in everyone else's), I get a text email with URLs to click to read the most recent post.
The trouble is, the email app I use on my phone (which is the standard Google Mail app, although my e-mail is not GMail) doesn't recognize them as URLs (I don't know whether that's because of their length, the fact that they don't start with "www" or what (I would think the http:// at the beginning would give it away), and therefore aren't clickable.
On all of my computer-based email clients it's not a problem...the links are highlighted and are clickable. This hadn't been a huge issue for me before because reading forum posts on my phone was not that important to me, but phones have become more capable over the years to the point where yeah, I'd like to be able to read updates on my phone.
If it were the other way around, cutting and pasting on my computer would not be a big deal, but cutting and pasting the URL on the phone, while possible, is still extremely difficult.
Would it be possible (or is there a setting? I couldn't find one) to send subscription update e-mails as actual HTML with real links so they are clickable even on my phone?
