I did that. Now I have a cryptic password that I want to change. I looked at my profile thinking that would be the place to make the change, but I didn't find it. Can anyone tell me how to change the password I have that works?

Yea! Thanks, Gary. That worked. I guess I just got lost in the options and couldn't find the right path.

< ramble on>
Some might feel that Finding the right path in life is simple, ... just always taking the right-most fork.

However, that method can easily lead one around in a circle. Ever get the feeling "Haven't I been in this (often undesired) situation before?"

However, finding the paths that are sufficiently correct for each of us, ... is often much less obvious.

Being able to accept that "a Path" might not be well-marked, often-traveled, or even identifiable as a path ... could widen one's opportunities.

If one reads and really understands "Seeing Beyond the Hedgerows", ... one may find that one of the first steps is to realize that there are always hedgerows, even if we cannot "see" them!

Of course, there are also many excellent well-marked paths as well.

Enough for now.
<end ramble>

Today is my friend's EVSE install assessment, under SDG&E in CA, and I plan to attend.

Ooooommmmmmmmmm. Ooooommmmmmmmmm.

Ah, I feel much better now.

Oh, I just had my assessment yesterday and was very disappointed. The man who came here had a very limited agenda. He looked at my meter to determine that there was room for a 40 amp circuit breaker. He looked at how I currently get power to the garage; that's underground and probably unchangable. And he measured how much trenching would be required to get from my existing meter to the garage. The only other thing he did was stick a picture of the charger on the wall where it will be installed.

I asked how deep the trenching had to be. He didn't know, but thought maybe six inched. I have never done that, but somehow I doubt six inches. Maybe 18 inches, but who knows.

I asked about other rates. He didn't really know. I knew more than he, since I had taken the initiative to contact SCE.

I asked about a separate meter. He said it could be free to me, but he didn't really know. I have since talked to an Edison planner, and those details are yet to be determined.
