Re: New Forum Layout - where things have moved and all your complaints in one spot

My biggest complaint is that the top bar loads at the very end, so when I click on the menu button on the upper left, the top bar loads a split second before, and then I actually click on the home link which takes me to the myelectriccarforums portal page.

The word 'quick links' is gone, but the icon should still be visible?

Hi Alex,
This was fixed last year I thought?! It loads the top bar last, but when the site first loads there is blank space for the bar to load into so that the page doesn't shift.
If that's not how it's working for you, can you let me know what device and browser you're using?
Thanks,
Mike

Can't see people's location on iPhone 6s. Is it not there, or is there a setting for it somewhere?

It's hidden on mobile phone view to save space.... if you turn the phone to landscape view it might show up? Not sure the iPhone 6 resolution

Hello, All. New member to myNissanLEAF, but I've been a moderator on the i-MiEV forum for quite some time.

We received notice that the i-MiEV forum will be updated to the format in use on myNissanLEAF. Before the update, a few of the moderators including myself are trying to familiarize ourselves with the new format and find issues.

I've gathered that there are no shortage of issues, but the one thing I'm still looking for is how to tell new/unread posts apart from read posts in a thread. On the old format still used over on myimiev.com, we have a small page icon that turns orange for unread posts near the timestamp and white for read posts. Over on TMC, there is a "New Post" flag in the top corner. I haven't found anything yet on here.

I just tested the Quick Links functionality on an iPhone 6 (not a plus). There is no icon or wording in portrait, but the wording does appear and is usable in landscape (we heavily use the "View Active Topics" button over on myimiev.com, so that is an important feature to us).

"View Active Topics" is hidden in the 3 bar drop down menu under "New Posts". Takes two clicks with the new layout which is annoying.

Found it. 1blocker was hiding most of the buttons on the ribbon.

Thanks.
