Am I doing something wrong?

Thu May 11, 2017 9:46 am

In the General/Main forum, under the topic "Need to run a cooler for about a day and a half. 12 volt socket max current" I wrote a post with a URL that looks funny. I don't know if I'm writing it wrong or if I'm not supposed to post links to Amazon.com. I tried writing it several times and kept getting weird results

Here's a link:

It looks fine to me. I click the link and it takes me to a battery on Amazon. What 'looks weird' about it?

It's a misfeature the forum owner has added, injecting useless links based upon various keywords you type and augmenting links you post with referral codes. It adds dumb links and makes the web site slower. See this thread:

It's supposed to say more than "charger." I took a picture of how I have the post edited and how it looks on my computer (Surface 3, Windows 10, Edge browser.)

Maybe you have a browser plugin or adblocker that's getting in your way? This is what I see, which I think is what you're intending:

Oh good! So it's just me. I'll take a look and see what could be wrong.
