Having said that, it's just a general rule and there is always room for (minor) improvement. I approve of the idea of regional geographic sections, but that's probably not necessary until Leafs start being delivered. We can discuss specific dealers, charge points, weather conditions or routes with others who use them. We can even share our own addresses and cord/charger access info for emergency charge purposes.

I think most people actually use the "View active topics" at the top - which works when the forum is small. Even with the restructure that will work as is.

I hit "View New Posts" on the upper right until I've read every new post. When there are no more new posts to read, I shed a silent tear and go away. For a while. Then I come back. ;)

I find that the "view active topics" on the left appears to show basically the same stuff, but allows for more "new" stuff.

Is the "view new posts" better in some way?

Gary...

The "View New Posts" option shows you ONLY the new posts since your last visit. Then look for the little black arrow pointing at the brown folder. Hover over that with your mouse and it should say "display New Messages" or something like that. Click it and you'll be taken to the first new message in that thread that you have yet to read.

It looks like the "active topics" sort of does the same thing, because the black arrow and new message folder is there, but you have to look past all the 'active topics' that don't have any new messages for you. The "View New Posts" option is, IMHO, a cleaner and faster way of reading new posts.

To each his/her own, I guess.

I've completed the restructuring the forums and moving some of the threads to the right forum. As I see threads that would be better in a different thread, I'll move them over the next couple of days.

Let me know if something is amiss.
1st Leaf : 2/28/2011 to 5/6/2013
2nd Leaf : 5/4/2013 to 3/21/2017
Volt : 3/25/2017 to 5/25/2018
Model 3 : 5/10/2018 to ?
