Call a dealer and find out.. share what you discover.

Could be very few coming off right now. Everyone is using their 3 free months waiting to see the gen 2 details. Could be a flood coming off shortly after if the 60 kWh option is delayed too long.

Spoke to Bill Werner at Star Nissan in Niles, IL (Chicagoland area) and here are the numbers he gave me for August for a 2015 Leaf:

24 months - 24,000 miles
S - $4300
SV - $4300
SL - $3300

36 months - 36,000 miles
S - $5500
SV - $5900
SL - $6100

Hope this helps!

Anyone know when one could purchase their Leaf and take advantage of incentives if one did the lease extension with the 3 payment covered?

I assume that you can do it anytime.
2013 "Brilliant Silver" SV with Premium Package and no QC, and 2009 Vectrix VX-1 with 18 Leaf cells.

The most offensive, tasteless phrase in use here is "Pulled the trigger." I no longer respond to posts that use it.

Availability to be announced with current owners receiving highest priority. Speculation runs from Late December (for a few likely deliveries to claim 2017) to a more likely Jan 2018 for the real flow of cars to dealerships in primary areas of West and East Coast markets...

Talked with Nissan Leaf specialist. They said I have to make 2 months of payments or they may make me pay back the 3 payments before I can do anything with the Leaf, turn it in etc. I'm thinking I may just want to buy it ASAP, with the right incentive of course.

My 2015 will be off lease in May '18. I'm hoping they still have the $5,500 incentive or higher and I may just buy the car.
