Last I knew, NMAC was now extending all leases (on request) up to 4 years from in service date. If you have a high payment, Cwerdna's idea might be a good one, especially for a used Leaf with a warranty. If you have a low payment, I suggest you extend the lease and, if you want, get a one year warranty extension from...arrgh, I can't remember the name, but it's a Nissan dealership in CA that offers good prices on warranties.
