Cancel/repurchase Nissan extended warranty?

I overpaid by 50% for my Nissan extended warranty, and am contemplating cancelling (<30 days) & then repurchasing through Jim Bone Nissan.

Had anybody had success with this maneuver?

I would call the dealer you plan to purchase from, and ask them about it. Since you can purchase the extended warranty anytime during the original warranty period, I would not try to make the replacement purchase right away. Wait for a while after you get your money back and get confirmation of cancellation.
