I had talked with them previously about a 2014 SV and 2013 S for 15990, But they had sold the car before I purchased it. Here's the current offer they gave me. 2014 Leaf S - Quick charge and backup camera - Roughly 20km's

Original price and documentation fee: $19,990 $500 (apparently non negotiable when I first talked to him)
Price after discussion: $17,500 0 documentation fee

The actual price of the car vs what it should cost seems a bit high, But this is all they are willing to negotiate. When I buy the car from this dealership I can take advantage of a program where I trade my old car in and receive $3250 ($250 off at the dealership, 3k from government later) The prices from other local areas do not generally have the quick charge, and I cant use their dealerships for the SCRAP it program, so I'd lose out of the $3250 (my car is basically worthless) What do you guys think? Pull the trigger?

They can give me 4.79% for a 48 or 60 month term I make 40k yearly

Overall it looks good to me and I'm assuming that was a type and that there are 20,000 km on it. Also assuming you are quoting Canadian dollars.

We looked at the 2016 SV demo at campus but we ended up buying a new SV for cheaper than they had the Demo and it was much closer to us.

Your situation seems ideal for the car. Make sure the battery is good. Maybe check that it didn't come from Arizona. We didn't qualify for the scrap it program but for you it's great. Essentially you are getting it for 14250.

Good luck.

My bad. I meant typeo as your post read 20 km. Sorry. I switch my keyboard on my iphone back and fourth between a few languages and if I forget my auto correct goes wonky. Anyway. You are going down the same route that we were three weeks ago. That dealership imports and converts lots of leafs so they know there stuff. Good luck and let us know how it turns out.

John and Angela.

Location in profile would be good.
Seems like a reasonable buy .
I would check battery stats with L.Spy first before purchase and also check which updates have been done ie: brakes, pdm etc.
I am in Nanaimo if you need a read, PM if necessary.
