Regarding Leafspy, I searched ebay for Leafspy ODB Adapter, and got many hits. Is there much of a difference between them? Any purchasing advice? And is the free app ok, or should I spend to $14.99 for the pro version?

There are only a handful that work, and at least one that can damage your car. Others will give specifics.
2013 "Brilliant Silver" SV with Premium Package and no QC, and 2009 Vectrix VX-1 with 18 Leaf cells.

The most offensive, tasteless phrase in use here is "Pulled the trigger." I no longer respond to posts that use it.

If you plan on really using LeafSpy you should really get the paid version, the free version lacks all but the most basic features. Also I'd suggest NOT getting LeafSpy(at least the free version) off Amazon, get it from the app store. If you get it off Amazon, Amazon insists you have the Amazon app on your phone, I didn't want it on my phone and got constant reminders to reinstall it :x
AFA OBDII adapters, I got this one off Amazon and it's worked fine for the last 2 years :)

Well, I got it and tried it with Leafspy Pro. The red light went on, but I couldn't get the app to connect with it. I'll have to look into it more on Friday.

Just to close things out here, once I paired the device correctly with my phone first, it now works perfectly.
