AFAIK, NMAC still passes on 100% of the Federal credit to the lessee, so that dealer seems to be trying to steal most of it for themselves.
I don't think the dealership is taking the credit. It is bundled into the residual. The real story here is that Nissan is so far holding firm to a rational depreciation of about 63%. I don't expect that to change before Q4 --- if at all. It will depend on their sales targets and could well be limited to CARB states.
