The City & Co. lot downtown on Alii Place charged me for parking last week. The attendant showed me a letter from the the city parking management office allowing the operator, Ampco, to charge EVs for parking.

On the good side, I noticed the lot at the Dole Cannery theater has desiginated two EV spaces at the Ewa end on the third level.

I assume from the Dole Theatre reference that you guys are in Hawaii. For those of us mainlanders, please identify where you are talking about. I don't know of any free parking for EVs in Miami, :?: but I will investigate. (I spent about $8 for street parking yesterday and did not think about the possibility it was free.)

This is terrible news! I wouldn't have thought the state law would allow the City to supersede the statute.

Have you posted this in the thread dedicated to Hawaii free parking?
