Sunpower Solar Owners -PLEASE READ

Wasn't sure the best category to put this in, so here it goes. Some one can move it if they have a better location.

I just got a notice from SunPower that there is a recall on the Xantrex Inverter by Schneider Electric. They are recommending turning off the system until it is fixed. There is no ETA on the retrofit kit. For the inconvenience they are giving a $100 Visa gift card when you register at http://us.sunpowercorp.com/invertergiftcard .. If you did not yet get a letter, call them at 1-800-SUNPOWER for your case number.

Since there have been no actual occurrences of this issue, I think I'm going to take my chances and leave my system on.

But I wasn't aware that they haven't yet put together a retrofit kit, after nearly a month.
