My cents per kWh costs for the past 12 months have been (under Dominion Virginia Power's Dual-Meter Schedule EV Time of Use plan):

Nope, nothing like 2 cents, to be sure but yep, those are some sweet numbers allowing me my 1,500 mi for $25 statistic. :) Recently, I've been paying more because of the Blink Vampire power draw 24/7, 5-7 kWh in the Peak range per month.

It amazes me how ones untility bill could be so complicating. I live in rual Oklahoma. In ok we enjoy very reasonable energy rates on cng, electricity, petrol except propane seems to be high. My power provider is a co-op running 6.3 cents and 8.2 june-sept. Rates apply 24/7. I think Tulsa and Okc are a bit higher, but well below larger city rates.

I haven't read/re-read this thread carefully, but if you want to see insanity, look at the statement at https://docs.google.com/open?id=0B1eSSO ... ER2bEtqcGs posted by madbrain at viewtopic.php?p=235977#p235977.

That statement is fricking in insane compared to what I get from the same (ripoff) utility, except that I have no solar and therefore no net metering.

Try putting in your usage into http://www.pge.com/myhome/myaccount/charges/ w/a 95136 zip code (not where I live, but it's the same as where I live) w/no for CARE (for low income people) and comparing your costs vs. PG&E.

I was on a non-TOU plan (E1) but more recently switched a TOU-based one (E6-Smart).

Don't get me started on reading Power Utility Bills. I have it down to a science. Schedule EV, Schedule A, Schedule C1, C2, etc, sales tax, corporation tax, county tax. Every month I input my recorded usage into a spreadsheet and out pops the portion of my bill just for the LEAF and what remains for the household. When there's a conflict, back to the riders I go to see what changes when it changes. Hard core.
