No coolant requirement on my 2017 as far as I know. There is windshield fluid, brake fluid every few years (pads should last 10+ years for me), tires (rotate and eventual replacement), washing the exterior and vacuuming the interior.

I did buy a lighted door handle switch but haven't put it in yet. And I've removed all the exterior 'Zero Emission' stick-on lettering. So there are a few mods I couldn't resist but compared to what I'm used to this is nothing. I guess if I keep the car for > 100k miles that could change but since it's just a town car for me that won't happen in my lifetime.

It is normal for that connector block to be exposed on later models. My 2011 had a cover over the similar connector. I noticed the exposed connector on my 2015 and mentioned it to my dealer. We looked at several on the lot and concluded they eliminated the cover. I did not want water to get in so I fabricated a cover.
