I'm a tinkerer, and I love to add new features, but on this car, it's so incredibly mysterious. Google often leaves me dry. Either that or no one is sharing the details. My largest curiosities are:

1. Speed controller module and software handicap, i.e. torque/HP, etc.
2. Vehicle communications systems, like TCU/Navigation/Energy reading (maybe CAN bus). The BMW I have has what is called iBUS, and I learned to communicate with it and create custom actions.
3. Vehicle charging systems, i.e. CHAdeMO and DC tolerances. I think there's a lot more that can be learned here.
4. Regeneration, like LeafBox capabilities, though I'd like to know more about the vehicle's protocols as I have programmed many Arduino systems and Raspberry Pi's myself and am looking to get my hands dirty.
