what is this switch in the console?

In the console thing, the one with cupholders, seat heater switches and usb (on the upper/far left) -- what's in the upper/far right? It's like a little door covering what i thought was a blank panel... but when i popped the console up, i see there are some wires attached to it from beneath

its a 2017 S.

On my 2011 Leaf there is a auxiliary input jack there to accept music input like from a MP3 player.

That is an SL. It has the Bose subwoofer and leather front seats. One of the covered openings is for a USB port and the other, IIRC, is for the Aux In port for the audio system.

ah ya, i see it now (it's dark in there!), it's a headphone (sized) jack
