Northwest Chicagoland service shop recommendations?

Any positive or negative feedback on local shops?

I bought a used 2015 from Bill Kay Nissan, but that’s over an hour’s drive for me. Closer options are Arlington Nissan (Arlington Heights), M’Lady Nissan (Crystal Lake), Woodfield Nissan (Schaumburg), or Liberty Nissan (Libertyville).

Any experience with independent shops? I’ve gone to Douglas Automotive before and been generally happy with them. I asked, and they do service electric cars. But it seems like they wouldn’t have as much expertise/experience as a Nissan dealership. Your thoughts?

I'm 2 miles from Arlington Nissan and now take my car to Evanston Nissan. Evanston seems to have plenty of Leaf expertise and improved communication on the status of your vehicle.
