Does anyone know if Nissan will let you transfer your lease to another person?

Unless things have changed in the last few years, NMAC will let you transfer a lease, as long as the new lessee meets their creditworthiness standards, and you're not within IIRC 6 months of lease end. BUT, you are still held responsible for any missed payments, and for the overall condition of the car when it's returned.
Blue Ocean 2012 Leaf SV, lost that 1st bar at 34 months/26,435 miles. Lease returned 2 months later. Final LeafStat figures: 225 Gids, 17.44 kWH, SOC 91.89%, SOH 82.36%, 69.49% HX, 54.57 Ahr, battery temp 61.8 F.
Now driving a 2015 VW eGolf SEL.

One caveat is that if the original lease is in a ZEV state (I think that's the right term), then it must be assumed by someone who resides in that state. For example, I live in South Carolina and can't assume an EV lease in California, or NJ (and others) but I could in NC or Georgia, etc.
