Hi everyone,

I am wondering if anyone else is experiencing this problem.

I have a 2015 Nissan Leaf SV.

After I charge (via level 2), my trip odometer always gets reset to 0 and my clock changes from 12h to 24h format.

The actual time is correct.

I am so confused as to what is happening and how to fix.

Are you leaving the car plugged in for hours after it has finished charging? If the problem is the 12 volt battery being low, then that would be the most likely cause. Charge the accessory battery fully, and unplug the car within a couple of hours of the charge finishing, and see if that fixes it. While it's plugged in but not charging, the car frequently tests the charge port connection for status, and the 12 volt battery isn't charged at that time.

This is unusual and since my driving /charging logs rely on trip reset, that would be inconvenient. But not the first electronic glitch I have heard of. Both my 2013 and 2016 change air flow settings on my climate controls all the time.
