I'm having an issue where the heater seemed to heat up at 1st and stays at 3 kW for about 30 seconds and then it goes below one kW and blows lukewarm Air. Please watch video for much better explanation
Looks like a heatpump issue. The car will normally use both heaters to heat, then switch to heatpump only when the air is hot. It seems the resistance heater works, but not the heatpump.
If you've got an OBD2 dongle and Leaf Spy Pro, I'd have a look for any trouble codes. Report back any you find, perhaps someone will have seen the same codes before
I'm gonna ask my dealer if they have warranty because I paid 12,000 cash and I don't want it to already have a problem 6 months into ownership. I noticed this issue months ago but assumed it was too hot for the heater to engage or something
