Indeed. We already have at least 8 known cases of 30 kWh Leafs that have lost 4 bars: http://www.mynissanleaf.com/viewtopic.php?p=516655#p516655.

In comparison, we don't know of any model year 2015 "lizard" battery 4 bar losers yet: http://www.mynissanleaf.com/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=24532. Even on Phoenix, GerryAZ only lost 2 bars. I just learned of the first 3 bar loser on the lizard battery today. He lost it yesterday, 1/27/18.

Charging rate is measured in kW, not kwh. You got the battery capacity units correct: kWh.

Hello guys, I feel your pain!! 2016 30kw leaf 13,000 miles and just lost 3rd bar!! Very disappointed

Apparently there was a software error in the cars there was a software update available which restored my full capacity and full range I can go a hundred fifteen hundred and twenty miles again under ideal conditions

I am now at 26,000 miles and still have all 12 capacity bars and apparently still full range I have noticed no reduction yet I can average a hundred hundred and ten under optimal low load conditions and still consistently hit 100 miles delivering pizza and towing a tiny trailer which knocks about 10 miles off my range

I still drive it consistent 54 mile one way drive to work at least twice a week not counting delivery driving and the rain has been very consistent

The Gom is much more reliable in this car more consistent and accurate and its results although it's still typically overestimates by about 10 miles

I did take a long distance Drive I drove 98 miles from my house on I-95 to the Maryland house charging station and I still had 16 miles left on the computer which was probably pretty accurate and that was 60 mile per hour driving

So far I am extremely pleased with the 2016 and the 30 kilowatt battery!

My next purchase will be a 2019 with the 60 kilowatt option which I estimate I can afford to purchase by 2021

Battery capacity is measured in kilowatt-hours (kWh), not kilowatts.
