Recharging with Modified Sine Wave?

Tue Aug 07, 2018 10:44 am

Charging with inverter generator no problem, will a Modified Sine Wave generator work without harm?

It should work for L-1 charging, as long as the power isn't too "dirty" with ragged "waves."

Unless the generator is a very rare inverter/generator with a MSW inverter you have a sine wave generator. The common generator produces a natural sine wave same as a monster power plant. While there could be some distortion depending on the reactance of the load and voltage regulation I don't see that you will have any troubles.
