Not sure if this is an issue, but my car is showing 83% charge with 80% setting. Is this normal?
80% charge setting charges to 83%?

Mine is showing the same.
Charging stops at 10 out of 12 bars = 10/12 = 83.33%

The SOC estimate inside the LEAF appears to vary "smoothly".
What we see is "Bars", which are a quite crude approximation of the actual SOC.
In charging to 80%, the charger inside the LEAF probably stops at 80%, but that is "displayed" in the car, and by Carwings, as 10-of-12 bars.
Carwings always shows 83% for 10 bars, even if the actual (estimated) SOC is substantially different.
Roughly 75% to 85% SOC can be displayed as "10 bars", with the exact percentages listed in the Service Manual, and in another thread.

Ok thank you, I am still not over the last major repair I had and kind of paranoid that something else might have been damaged or defective.
