Radio interference on bumpy pavement

Just started to notice that the AM radio gets static interference when I drive over a bumpy part of the road. Does not happen using XM just AM. Have not tested the FM band.

I wondering if it is just a loose antenna connection of a problem with he radio? I guess only the dealer will know for sure.
