I will post another LeafSpy data point after she charges back up to 100%.

########################## 11/18/15 UPDATE: ##########################################

LeafSpy does not currently support GID readings higher than 349.

Here are the numbers after running for +-10 minutes, in 36 degree weather, with the lights on and use of the heater a bit to clear the windows:

Date: 11/18/2015
Mileage: 77
GIDs: 349
kWh: 27.00
SOC: 92.92%
SOH: 100%
Hx: 98.20%
AHr: 82.03
QC=2; L1/L2=7

My guess is, at 100% charge, the 30 kWh battery is yielding around 360 GIDs :D.

########################## 11/20/15 UPDATE: ##########################################
Turbo3 released a beta app thats enable me to read GIDs past 349 -- yay! Here is another update from today:

Date: 11/20/2015
Mileage: 227
GIDs: 354
kWh: 27.25
SOC: 94.75%
SOH: 100%
Hx: 97.20%
AHr: 81.29
QC=2; L1/L2=13
Ambient=28

########################## 11/21/15 UPDATE: ##########################################
Hit +360 GIDs for the first time!

Date: 11/20/2015
Mileage: 266
GIDs: 363
kWh: 28.1
SOC: 97.72%
SOH: 100%
Hx: 97.20%
AHr: 81.29
QC=2; L1/L2=14
Ambient=49

########################## 11/25/15 UPDATE: ##########################################
Another +360 GID reading :D

Date: 11/25/2015 11:51:07
Mileage: 480
GIDs: 363
kWh: 28.13
SOC: 97.47
SOH: 100.00
Hx: 97.08
AHr: 81.20
Charges: QC=2; L1/L2=30
Ambient: 37 F

I am :D. I've had it all of 1/2 a day but am loving all the improvements over my 2012 SL :).

It's a great feeling to go from 100% charge getting me 238 GIDs w/18.4 kWh to 100% charge getting me 341 GIDs w/27.7 kWh over night :D.

Between the battery degradation of my 2012 and the battery upgrade in the 2016, I've gotten an additional 9.3 kWh. + 9.3 kWh is a big deal for us Leaf drivers :) -- especially now in the winter months :D.

It might have more GIDs. I believe Turbo3 was still working on the app to expand the GID range beyond 349.

Congrats on being one of the first '16 owners! :)

Did you buy or lease ? how much ? Can you post in another thread ...

I haven't been able to post the another fully charged numbers due to an issue with the LeafSpy app. Turns out when, fully charged, the 30kHW battery has more than 350 GIDs which breaks the LeapSpy app...

The iOS LeafSpy app will only work properly with <=349 GIDs.

Turbo3 is aware and working to resolve the LeafSpy app issue.

The good news - the new 30kHw battery has more than 349 usable GIDs :D

How do you like the new infotainment system? Since this is pretty much the only other thing that Nissan has changed, I'm anxious to know what people think of it.

Coming from a 2012 SL I can honestly I love all the improvements made, including the new infotainment system. I got the SL with the Boise system.

Having +-27.5 kWh of usable battery is a super big deal for those of us use to having <=18 kWh of usable battery.

I'll post some more data logs tonight.

To keep the logging clean I've updated the initial post with some data over the last couple of day.

The highest number of GIDs I've seen so far is 363 and this was after I had the climate control running for a couple of minutes so I know for sure it hit at least 365 or higher :eek: :D !

I'm loving the increased range and improved efficiencies over my 2012 SL! :D

I can't tell you why LeafSpy is reporting 363 GIDs, only that it is.

One theory is the battery is bigger than 30kWh with an electronic limiter set to restrict usage to < 30kWh.

I can attest to getting 363 GIDs of range worth of usage in real world driving conditions, which is all that matters to me :D.

Reading from LeafSpy as of today:

Date: 11/25/2015 11:51:07
Mileage: 480
GIDs: 363
kWh: 28.13
SOC: 97.47
SOH: 100.00
Hx: 97.08
AHr: 81.20
Charges: QC=2; L1/L2=30
Ambient: 37 F

I would be interested to know how many freeway miles you can get at 65mph or how many surface street miles with speeds not exceeding 45mph. As Johnny Five would say "Ah... more input! More input!"

11/05/16
80.37 AHr
SOH 100%
Hx 95.48%
Gids 363

Odo km 165

11/14/16

SOH 96%
Hx 91.44%
Gids 348

Odo km 472

Looks like I hit month 5 of this chart:

Another Nissan mile :roll:
At least I can look forward to a new (reconditioned to 9 bar battery ) well within the 8 year 160,000 km warranty
(unless the programmed bar percentages are lower) :(
