For the noobs and interested parties here, please allow me to give an example of how the GOM can cause an unknowing individual great anxiety.
Example: Today while out and about the GOM indicated 43 miles in town. Immediately within a mile of merging onto the highway it registered 35. After less than 3 miles with a good hill involved it showed 23. After another 2 miles which included another good hill the GOM registered 13.
Was I excited? No. I learned long ago to ignore the GOM and rely on LSP. I had plenty of "fuel" to get where I needed to go.
As an aside, I am aware of a '13 LEAF that lost 2 bars within 9K miles.
Thank you to all the contributors and supporters here.
