Retrofitting the bose into a sl?

Can the bose be retrofitted by replacing 4 speakers and amp or is the wiring not there?

I would not bother, the BOSE "premium" sound in the leaf sounds very poor imo. You'd be far better off upgrading with proper speakers and proper amplified sub. The Sub in the Leaf is ridiculously underpowered and creates a boom and actually destroys the audio quality. And still has a lack of proper baas. It Doesn't get remotely close to the base depth and loudness of a proper Sub, naturally given it's tiny size.

interesting info...i was considering installing just a sub in my 2013 SL also...i'm guessing though it would make sense just to replace all the speakers then.

anyone have any recommendations on "best value" speakers with sub? i'm hoping to not that spend that much (less than $200 - $300)
