Hey guys,

First time poster, though I have read several threads.

I recently upgraded my stereo, and my put in a 2 pairs of hold me over speakers a few months back (for $50 a pair, you cannot go wrong with the RE Audio REX 6.5's).

I purchased the REX SR components to upgrade, and am purchasing an amp and the RE Audio SEX 10d4 sub for the trunk. I am not au aduio professional, so I am leaving the amp install to cartoys or some other audio shop, but in the meantime, I would like to install my tweeters.

I read about removing the a-pillars, and I have that down, but once I do that, how do you actually install the tweeters? I see the clip with the pink and purple wires, do I get an adapter (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0002BEUZ8/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER) ; do I splice that wire? How do I mount it? I would not to install these so they are visable. I think that would be tacky.

Thanks

Josh

I have the base 2014 S and it already has tweeters in the B Pillars. Perhaps getting a replacement set of pillar covers for a 2014 would help clue you in on where the mounts go.

I just want to be sure how to wire them up. I have the 2014, and can remove them to see how to install a tweeter. I simply don't want to mess with anything else when wiring them.
