I can’t seem to find an answer anywhere.
I have my Kiwi 3 plugged into our 2015 Leaf but the OBD Fusion app will not connect.
I’ve checked the setting and deleted our previous car.

Will it work with the Leaf? What am I missing?
Thank you.

So can anyone tell me if the Kiwi 3 is Compatible with the Leaf? I don’t want to buy Leaf Spy if the Kiwi won’t work.

Basic Leafspy is free. Try that, see it it works. It's designed specifically for the Leaf. After trying the free version I bought the Pro version. Good deal with lots of experience and support.

Unfortunately that option is gone now. The pro version is the only one available.

How much is LeafSpy Pro now? I remember paying something like $5 total for it. It's really the only useful diagnostic app for the Leaf.

EDIT: looks like it's $9.99 now. Definitely worth that.

The free version still exists, but only for Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.Turbo3.Leaf_Spy_Lite&hl=en_US. Ignore the part about the KW902 being recommended. See http://www.mynissanleaf.com/viewtopic.php?f=44&t=23776. I've asked Turbo3 several times to remove that verbiage but I'm not sure why he hasn't or can't.

IIRC, there was never a free or lite version of Leaf Spy for iOS.

OP hasn't specified which phone/tablet OS he's using.

http://www.mynissanleaf.com/viewtopic.php?p=513219#p513219 and http://www.mynissanleaf.com/viewtopic.php?f=44&t=19147&p=473679&hilit=kiwi#p473679 suggests that the PLX Kiwi 3 should work.

In the future, you might be better off searching for posts by Turbo3, author of Leaf Spy.

be careful with generic OBD scanner apps for the Leaf. The one with my Navdy HUD would spam the CAN and cause engine codes to pop up so i had to disable that part of my HUD. It wouldn't turn the check engine light on but i would notice my cruise control disable sometimes randomly.

leafspy is the one to use.

Thank you for the replies.
I went ahead and bought Leafspy and it works flawlessly with the Kiwi 3.
The first thing I did was disable the backup beeper and engine startup sound.
Thank you!
