My Garmin GPS navigator has a "trace" mode such that if I have it turned on, it'll highlight the route I take on the map live. I can put the map in 2D and see exactly where I've gone. It's useful for when I drive around in garage sale, for example, to be able to trace my way back out of big neighborhood for find shorter exit route out of a neighborhood if I know where I came in.

I wonder if the Leaf's navigator has such a "trace" function?

So let me see if I understand this correctly: there's no way to disable the Carwings "ok" message when you start the car, but they broadcast the car's location in the RSS feeds without any way to defeat? I'm starting to think about what would happen if I just DON'T hit "ok" at start-up.

I actually added his two feeds. They are pretty cool!

No, but apparently the RSS feeds do!
