I just purchased a pre-owned Leaf and it did not come with a recovery hook. I am wondering if it is a standard thread size and so I could use a regular eye bolt. Does anyone know the thread size of the recovery hook?

Thanks

You can get the tow eyebolt from Nissan or junkyards. They seem to be standard for Nissan cars. I got a spare one when I ordered an Altima jack from eBay for my LEAF:

It fits my LEAF, no surprise. If you want it I will mail it to you for the cost of postage, which I'd guess at about $5 if you are in the USA.

I believe that the front tow hook for the 2011 through 2016 24kWH battery models has an M22 metric thread. Nissan part number 511121KA0A, as per various other Nissans e.g. Altima, Rogue.
The 2016 30kHW battery model seems to use a larger thread, possibly M24.
