automatic windshield wiper??

It's called a "rain-sensing wiper" and it's not new.
2013 "Brilliant Silver" SV with Premium Package and no QC, and 2009 Vectrix VX-1 with 18 Leaf cells.

The most offensive, tasteless phrase in use here is "Pulled the trigger." I no longer respond to posts that use it.

First, the technology this one uses is far superior to the moisture-sensing that requires a device be attached the the outside of the car. Second, I am not the best auto mechanic around, having abandoned the idea of DIY car repair and mods several decades ago. However, a quick read through the instructions tells me that the hardest part of this job will be finding the correct locations for connections and squirming around under the dash. It should be a very straightforward and satisfying install.
