Hello my name is James and I am a new to the forums. I was able to get a great deal on a 2013 Leaf SL with only one battery bar missing after 44k.

As much as I like the stock led headlights I felt it was not bright enough as I do a lot of night time driving on the 15 freeway from the Inland Empire to Victorville. The stock halogen fog lights didn't match the color output of the led headlights which also bothered me.

So first of all I bought the 11" Mictuning led light bar off a popular bidding website that are rated at 50w each at 6000k. That ran me about $60 free shipping. I also ordered a pair of mictuning led round fog lights which are 10w each and at 6000k.

Unfortunately in my old age and wisdom I did not take pictures during my install, but anyone who is interested I will be more than happy to answer questions with what was done and how. I do ,how ever, need to silicone seal the wiring nuts I used sometime this week so I maybe able to take pictures of what I did understand inside the car. For now here is a picture of the installed lights.

I do need to aim the light bars down a little bit but I left the Allen wrench at home so it will have to be done tomorrow. Hope you all enjoy and feel free to ask questions.

I know that's why I need to re-aim them down lower so the spot light leds hit where the stock headlights end on the ground. As for the floods they give off such low light on their outer perimeter it's more like a squirrel light they use in hyundai projectors. I'll post pictures after I have re-aimed them when I get one in the morning.

The reason the OEM high beams are so weak is that they are halogen, even with the LED option, which only replaces the low beams with LEDs. They are also poorly matched to the car.
