Sorry if I am posting this in the wrong spot. Has anyone ever considered this as a replacement for their in dash radio: JOYING 7 Car Stereo 2GB 32GB Android 6.0 Head Unit Double Din Touch Screen Radio Auto Car Audio Indash GPS Navigation with Bluetooth WiFi Mirroring https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M670UWI/re ... EzbXQ81R5V

It is essentially an android tablet designed to fit into your dash. You could run leaf spy, Google maps, plug share, or any other app from the play store on it.

I have a S without a navigation system, so this seems like an inexpensive way to add a lot of the functionality to my Leaf. My main question is how this would interface with the backup camera.

Just found this thread while looking for a 3rd party TMS solution for the Leaf. But has anyone posted anything about such a solution?

If there isn't one, what would be involved in doing a DIY one? I don't believe there's an air-gap between the pack and the chassis, but there is a gap between the pack and the underbody cover. I'm thinking of attaching a flat nozzle to a blower that's powered off the 12V battery? Anyone familiar with the underside of a leaf?

may as well add this to the easy mod index:

Upgrade the power window controls on driver and passenger side with Altima parts to have lights in the buttons. Super useful for the dark winter months.
