Maybe this is old or secret (oops) knowledge, but I just realized today that you can ignore the Yes/No question by pressing one of the buttons to the left or right of the screen (not including the radio on/off button). Everything seems to work just fine, and you can return to the map screen with or without setting a destination without the question appearing again.

So hopefully this will save a few keystrokes and a little annoyance.

Is this known, unique to 2012s (or my vehicle!) or am I missing something?

I thought if you hit 'No', you were unable to set and follow Routes, but after bypassing it in the above way I was able to. I could be wrong about either "assertion" though, and probably should have played around a bit more before posting.

Also, in my book, bypassing is NOT the same as pressing No!

A few of the options (anything where the car communicates with carwings) will bring back the consent screen.
