Here is a little trick I cooked up. I was looking at Nissan's website at used Leaf's, and they have a cute little link to show you the original window sticker. When I looked at the link, I could see that the VIN number was part of it. So, I then tried substituting other VIN numbers I could see on Autotrader, and sure enough, I got the original window sticker ! I expect it would work for any Nissan vehicle, not just Leaf's. I found this particularly useful when shopping used Leaf's, since many dealers neglect to tell you if the car has a quick charger or faster fast charger. The window sticker will tell you all options as shipped.

Here is an example, just cut out the VIN number at the end and substitute yours :

Nice, thanks for the tip  I agree, lots of time dealers listings are almost worthless, listing things that aren't even available on a particular trim level Leaf! Hopefully LeftieBiker will see this and add it to his "tips and tricks" OP.

Thanks, that is way cool :)

Dang, doesn't seem to work for Canadian cars. Rather than the "certified pre-owned" part of the URL (http://cpo.nissanusa.com/nna/), http://Nissan.ca has http://certifiedusednissan.ca/ and after trying different combinations, it looks like Nissan Canada doesn't provide the public with such a VIN look-up capability.

It also doesn't work with my 2012 US model. Fortunately I still have the original window sticker.

Could be, I tried it with a half a dozen different '13/'14 models off Craigslist last night and it worked like a charm on all of them, didn't try any older as I'm seeing those less and less.
Just tried it on the only '12 I could find listed locally and it was a no-go.....probably only good on '13's and newer?? Still handy though as the '13's and on tend to have the most different options, before '13 all you had was the SL and SVs and not as many options.

I tried it with my SV, built in January 2013, but it doesn't work for me.

Edit: I looked at the CPO site and put it my ZIP code. I went down the list of Leafs it showed and noticed that the Original Window Sticker option only shows for 2014 and newer models.

As I said in a previous post, I tried a half dozen different '13 VIN's and all worked.....

What's to explain? The facts stated are what they are. Since the CPO site only shows the link for 2014 and newer models, I suspect the 2013 models that it brings up the sticker for are later 2013 builds (probably September and later).

Great find. Thanks for sharing.
Worked on my 2013 SL/Premium - Built August 2013
Original cost $37055, Bought it for $10000 with 34k miles in near mint condition/12 bars.
Found out it was leased from Gardena Nissan.
Did a price check for the new 2017 model and it comes out to over $39000 with the premium package now at $1500.

I wonder if this only works for Leafs that were originally leased? I know some people have been speculating it only works for later '13 and on models but my '13 is a November build and it doesn't work :( can't get much later than November. All I can think of is my '13 was purchased, I didn't lease, could this be the case? Has anyone been able to pull up a purchased Leaf of '13 build, or really any purchased Leaf would be also interesting....
BrockWI got his leaf in 3-'13(probably build date of Jan or Feb '13.....)and it worked so that kind of eliminates the idea of early '13's not working, not sure if his was leased or originally purchased though.
Basically all '13's I've checked off CL work but then again I'd assume almost all were leased.
