Bonus Tip:
Driving habits and conditions affect battery life, however, losing range hasn’t been a serious problem with used EVs, many of which have hit over 100,000 miles and are still going strong. More at the link!
This is bad information, especially in a Leaf forum. I suggest you try to limit tips to charging-related subjects.
Indeed.
OP should consult these:

http://www.mynissanleaf.com/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=23606 - already have been some 1 to 4 capacity bar losers on 30 kWh Leafs (began w/model year 2016), including some of the 4 bar losers already having their HV battery replaced under capacity warranty
Examples of 4 bar losers on 30 kwh Leafs (began w/model year 2016):

These folks have lost over 30%, possibly as much as 40% of their battery capacity.
http://www.electricvehiclewiki.com/Real_World_Battery_Capacity_Loss - unfortunately, not updated much any more.
http://www.electricvehiclewiki.com/Battery#Battery_Capacity_Behavior is derived from the table in the '11 Leaf service manual.
I personally know some folks here in the Bay Area who were able to lose 4 bars within the 5 year/60K capacity warranty (http://www.mynissanleaf.com/viewtopic.php?t=13192) and got their HV battery replaced for free under warranty, including 1 person at my work. My work is within a few miles of Chargepoint HQ.
For those who are down 4 bars outside the the 5 year/60K capacity warranty and had the misfortune of it happening when Nissan decided to no longer help w/the replacement cost.... tough luck.
