Hi,
In your car, see if you have the car icon with the blue arcs on the Nav display. If so then it would seem your car is connected to the system. I would kill the app, double press home then swipe the app away. If that won't work delete the app and re install. That usually clears up weird app behavior. That's all I can think of at the moment. Others may have ideas.
