Hello,

I was called by AIM LA (which appears to be a company that does focus groups, out of Los Angeles, CA.

I live on long island, and was invited to attend a focus group regarding my Leaf, and EV experience overall in October at the old GRUMMAN complex at Bethpage, NY..

They stated that the focus group would be 2-3 hours long, and pay $150. Included would be driving some unreleased electric cars.....

I am going to this one to see if it is on the level. I was also told that they are scheduling these focus groups all over the country, and they asked that I share his information with other EV owners, as they appear to be in need of about 1400 participants..

Anyway, if anyone wants to investigate this for themselves, you can call the person I spoke to for more information. Her name is Dalila Williams, at 800 308 3575 x318 up to 9 pm.

PS, I a leaf owner, just like all you guys, and have no connection with this company... As always, be careful about giving personal over the phone. I saw them as being on the level, and will show up at my appointment to check this out In October... Maybe $150??

I would love to hear from other members about this opportunity???

It just strikes me as weird that an organization that is prepared to hand out two million dollars, and schedule events at large facilities across the nation, and able to negotiate arrangements to have pre-market vehicles available for testing... would somehow be behind the curve in recruitment and need help identifying participants. Just sounds like a highly improbable mix of 90% high-competence and 10% half-assery. I'd stay away.

I went to an interview session in Sherman Oaks (west L.A.) earlier this summer on Luxury EVs. The name of the company helping with the research was Q-Insights. No test driving, just a panel of 7-8 of us who where driving newer EVs. Lots of interesting questions and interactions for our input on future desires for technology in EVs. Good experience and some nice $ for the effort.

Good Luck and Enjoy.

If any concern about this being legitimate, as a precaution just don't give out too much personal information more than necessary.

Wait... Weren't they the bad guys in an Iron Man movie?

All kidding aside, this looks really neat. This is tempting.
