Found this while doing some random googling looking for a supplier of J-1772 connectors..

It appears there is already a private company, offering public charger access, or access to standard 120V outlets for use with EV charging. Very interesting.
Clicking on the above link will use your IP address and shows charging locations near you...
looks like they have some type of debit card for using it already setup.. Its free until July 2010, then each host location can set a rate for using the charge port, the price will be listed on the location map.
