Here's a though that just occured to me. I have my modem and router on a UPS (uninterruptible power supply). Also my Blink is connected by ethernet cable. Blink timers are off, Leaf timers are on. So far I have not had a single issue with the Blink or with charging. It might be that those reporting problems have dirty power going to their datacom equipment.
