I have version 0.45.119 en and WOW it shows TONS of very useful info. I did see where it doesn't read tire pressure yet, so that was answered, and the GID% shows infinity... both I know will be worked out.
My question is what is the update rate that can be expected? The fastest I have gotten so far is about 4 seconds per sample using a Bafx obd2 dongle, and a LElink dongle coming in at 6 seconds per sample.
Supposedly the LELink is "configurable", but the idiot sheet that came with the dongle has no instructions to change any parameters.
Also, is it normal to have the data stop about 60 seconds after turning off the ignition (and I use that term loosely)?
You can fix the infinity Gids on a 2018 by going into Settings/Battery panel and pressing the "Restore Defaults" button.
As for the refresh speed, the new Custom Screen will get a new core code update that only reads the data you select for viewing. The fewer items and/or selecting items from a single ECU will speed up the refresh rate as only those items will be read from the Leaf.
I have not decided how I will handle logging on the Custom Screen.
I have the new core code working on my Android test version but it will most likely be released first on the iOS version.
Theoretically, if you only read one parameter that comes directly from the CAN bus on a 2011-2017 Leaf the rate could be as fast as 100 updates per second. Not sure I would actually update the screen that fast. For a 2018 Leaf the fastest might be around 10 updates per second for a single item. Direct reading from the CAN bus is not supported by Nissan starting with the 2018 Leaf.
