Wanted, Leaf cells for EV...

I am a member of the Gateway EV club in St. Louis and own a converted BMW EV with worn out AGM batteries. I'm looking for some Leaf cells to replace the old ones with. Anyone know of any totaled out Leafs that I could purchase for the Leaf pack?

Hybid Auto Center in Las Vegas has sold modules/packs in the past, still has them listed on their website: http://hybridautocenter.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

EVTV Motor Verks had a bunch of Renault (same as LEAF) packs, but they sold those very quickly. Not sure if they can get more: http://evtv.me/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Otherwise your best bet is searching the junkyards.

If you do find one, do us a favor and report back what you paid for it. I'd be curious what the junkyards are asking for them.

How about a whole new battery pack for $1,800? It lists higher($4k) for newer models for some reason..

hybridautocenter.com has 21 of the modules for $109 each. You guys have 48 of them? 7.5v x 48 = 360v..... I'm looking to put maybe 36 of them in my BMW EV for a 50+/- mile range.

Not that it matters in the context of this thread, but the Renault packs are not necessarily the same as what we see in the LEAF, even if EVTV says so. Some of them have been sourced from LG Chem. Additionally, they list the Renault Fluence as "Influenza". It's all rather entertaining, much like their show.
