How to request the SOC value from LEAF?

Thu Dec 22, 2016 9:14 am

I am planning to request the basic LEAF information (SOC, velocity, etc.) using TI TMS570XXX microcontroller (with built in CAN controller).

I have already read lots of threades in "LEAF CANBus" subforum. But I didn't find any description how to do this.

Can anybody explaine the formats of the request and the response.

What CAN ID should I use, what DATA field of CAN frame should be?

You do not need to make a CAN Request to get the SOC, just listed to the
eV-CAN bus for the right code ... i forget which. There is a document or
Spreadsheet on the forum with some of the leaf can codes.
