OK, so technically I'm in Waunakee (WaunaLeaf, get it?). Leaf reserved. Have heard nothing yet. Anyone else?

You should be getting an e-mail by June 30th with an update, though not being in one of the initial roll-out areas, it is hard to know what to expect for content. Did you get the May 28th e-mail? It was a simple congratulatory update for those not in the roll-out areas.

Yup, got my congrats emails and my confirmation #. Has anyone, anywhere gotten the "by June 30th" email yet?

Nobody has reported a "30 June" email yet.

Still waiting in Minnesota but not holding my breath. I am even foregoing my sattelite radio subscrption for a while until I get my Leaf. We'll see how long that lasts. :|

I am thinking about buying my own charger and getting it installed now because there is a federal tax rebate of 50% if you get one installed in 2010.

Well Paul you could always let they use one of your songs for a commercial and I bet they would get you a LEAF faster :)

Ha, I had a cassette of "The Shit Hits the Fans" back in...heck the mid 80's??

Still have it, but sadly no cassette player.

Probably Can't Hardly Wait would be the song to use...it is the most commercial...familiar to people but not over done too much...

Ok, so this week I got an email from nissan saying that I could now order.
There are 2 nissan dealers in madison, Kayser & Zimbrick, but the leaf reservation system only lists Zimbrick.

I submitted a request for a price quote and got an email back from Zimbrick:
SV MSRP: $36,220
SL MSRP: $38,100

While nissanusa & Zimbrick's own website lists these prices:
2012 Nissan LEAF SV 4dr HB MSRP $35,200
2012 Nissan LEAF SL 4dr HB MSRP $37,250

I really would like an electric vehicle, but I hate dealing with car salesmen who try to jack up the price.

Ask to have the quote broken down. If they are including the $850 destination fee, and all of the doc fees, these prices might be about right.
