I had a bunch of internal discussion about keeping Tesla on there. I rectified it by some logic:

Purchasing a Tesla requires purchasing online, which can be done in Texas (anyone can go online and do this). A spark or fiat requires you to make contact with a dealership outside texas. No dealers in texas carrier this or can carry them. Secondly, these cars specifically mention they are only available in certain states. Finally these cars are not supported in Texas - you cannot get these repaired in Texas, with the Tesla you can.

I think the another difference is the companies GM, Fiat, etc are the limiting factors, they don't want to sell in Texas. Tesla is being limited by the government and wants to sell here.

That's really the nutshell of why I left Tesla in there. If Tesla didn't want to sell in Texas or didn't support repairs, I would have taken them off the list.

Thank you for maintaining this list. I find it very helpful and usually more up to date than Plugshare.

I can offer one modification. Trophy Nissan has two Level 2 charging stations. One is next to the Level 3 charger in the 24 hour accessible service lot. The other is on the freeway side of their showroom, and is only available during business hours. It might be "restricted", but it's the one I always use when I go over there. I did lease from Trophy, but no one has ever questioned me about using it.

Awesome, thanks for the update. I changed it in the map. I am going to leave it as unrestricted since all the other dealerships are (despite having business hours).

I added a new station

Flying J – Dallas
Shorepower - Nine Level 1 (NEMA 5-20, NEMA TT-30), Three Level 2 (NEMA 14-30)
7425 Bonnie View Road
Dallas, TX 75241

Since this is a new supplier, the icon is now orange (wee). I also updated the the charging company access list to include Shorepower. Luckily this one requires no card or enrollment to access.

Semi on-topic: I use Park N' Fly for airport parking because they have two chargers installed. I lost my Park N' Fly card, so I went to my previous favorite, Parking Spot. Upon entry, the greeter advised me they would be installing two chargers at the DFW North location. When I returned from my trip, the driver also mentioned the chargers.

Well, I sent a message to their corporate office thanking them for the planned installation of their chargers, and recommended that they consider multiple 120V outlets rather than a few 240V chargers. Unfortunately, I just got their response:
Our apologies, (aarond12). I contacted the General Manager of The Parking Spot North to confirm when the EV chargers would be installed, and unfortunately, there was a last minute change for 2015 and we will not be installing them at this time.

Well, I'm going back to Park N' Fly. If you want to contact Parking Spot and have them reconsider their decision, here's the link:

New owner here in Southern Oklahoma. Does anyone have any good routes they use into Oklahoma. I see what's on plugshare but was wondering about Gainesville. I've been talking with the powers that be at Winstar Casino and hope to see something in the future there. Thanks

I've posted this theory before, and I sez it AGAIN! There are a LOT more Leafs on the road in Dallas!

Recall that I tried to charge at the EvGo at Belt Line and Montfort? Someone was there before me.

Two nights ago, I tried to charge at the EvGo on Mockingbird, just east of Greenville at the Walgreens. SAME THING! A blue Leaf was sitting in "mah charging place"!!!!

To top that off, on the way over to dinner that evening, a Tesla passed and I gave him the old thumbs up.

There are a LOT more Leafs on the road, and there are more Evs too.

Any comments on the new electric VW Golf??

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to our board. :D
